Research Data Management at UoC

The University of Cologne (UoC) pursues the goals of critically preserving traditional knowledge, gaining new knowledge and making both accessible and rusable for science and society, including future generations. The management, safeguarding, storage and sustainable provision of research data must therefore comply with scientific and legal standards. They must also fulfil high ethical requirements. The C3RDM supports and advises all researchers in this task. Please send us your enquiry!

To support a free and open science culture, the UoC founded the Open Science Center Cologne (OSSC) in 2023 to make open science activities and support structures for research and teaching on campus more visible, coordinate them and develop them strategically. In addition, its own Open Science principles were adopted.
