Development of a National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI): Information- and networking event at UoC
The call for proposals for the first funding phase of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) has just been published by the DFG.
" Based on a research-driven process, the NFDI aims to systematically manage research data collections, provide long-term data storage, backup and accessibility, and network the data both nationally and internationally in accordance with the FAIR principles. "
Together with the Competence Area III - Quantitative Modeling of Complex Systems (CA III), the Cologne Center for Data and Simulation Science (CDS), and the Cologne Center for eHumanities (CCeH) / Data Center for the Humanities (DCH) C3RDM organizes an information and networking event on the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) at the University of Cologne (UoC).
target audience: researchers at UoC, who are already actively involved in NFDI-initiatives or are interested in the topic
aim: information on the current status of the NFDI, the call for tenders and university-wide networking of the people involved
