Trainings & E-Learning

In addition to individual consultations on research data management, C³RDM offers training courses as well as training and information material on this topic. Synchronous courses are held as workshops in small groups for different target audiences (graduate schools, institutes, research groups, etc.) – current dates can be found in the events calendar on the right. The synchronous trainings are complemented by an asynchronous e-learning option. In addition, C³RDM will make the detailed information and training materials available for re-use.

A key component of the services offered by the C³RDM are generic trainings on research data management (RDM) as synchronous and asynchronous events as well as detailed informational materials on RDM. Additionally, all source materials will be available for reuse as Open Educational Resources (OER) shortly.

Trainings

are mainly designed as workshops for small groups and aimed at different target groups (especially PhD students and postdocs). Usually they take place as online courses and are organized in cooperation with the AMC. However, if required and if there are enough participants, the events can also be organized directly for graduate schools, institutes, research groups, etc. and can also be held face-to-face. Currently available formats are as follows:

  • RDM – a practice-oriented introduction (introductory course)
full-day workshop; offered alternately in English and German; no prerequisites; primary target group: PhD students; dates and direct links to registration via the AMC can be found in the sidebar, detailed course information here
